Opening for Phantogram was Class Actress, locals to Brooklyn. They were very stylish and fun. Very much '80s influenced with their airy synths. The lead singer, Elizabeth Harper, was really high energy. Although I have to wonder if she was on something because she kept asking the lighting guy to turn the lights down (when they were really low to begin with, but they looked like they were really bothering her) and eventually they were basically in the dark with a little bit of backlighting. But whatever. They put on a solid, danceable (albeit short) performance and I would definitely recommend checking them out.

Phantogram was up next and they were awesome. Sarah Barthel is so adorable and very charismatic and the electro-rock duo had everyone dancing their asses off and wanting more when they finished their set. I'm not really sure what to say beyond that they put on a great show. Their music is unique and yet can appeal to many different types of people, and the eclectic audience loved them. Not only is it great dancing music, it's also great driving music. Definitely worth the snowy trek.
