I take a lot of long drives, so one of my crucial must-haves for music is that it's gotta be car and adventure worthy. Wolfmother is an Australian folk-metal band (I don't use that description often) that provides such music, and I've taken quite a liking to the folk-rock track below, which was released on their 2005 self-titled debut album and is featured on the lovely soundtrack for 500 Days of Summer. Wolfmother is coming out with their second full-length album, Cosmic Egg, in October, and it has already received comparisons to the likes of Black Sabbath and the White Stripes by the Rolling Stone.
