Kitty, Daisy and Lewis

Nothing like some old school blues to get down to on a beautiful summer day like today (particularly their beach-themed "Honolulu Rock-A Roll-A"). That's why I'm listening to UK trio Kitty, Daisy & Lewis. They recently rapped up a North American tour with Coldplay, which I have to say is maybe a rather surprising match to me, but I'm glad they're gaining notoriety on this side of the pond. Their simple, gritty, self-titled blues album sounds like it was recorded 70 years ago (or maybe more), and they look like an interesting amalgamation of then and now. But their music will have you dancing, tapping, clapping, and bopping for sure.
