Schuyler Fisk. I don't even remember how I found out about her, but I'm so glad I did. Her lyrics are some of the most real and emotional around these days, and her voice is softly smooth that calms the soul. Her songs are just right- composed any other way and they would be ruined. I was impressed with her before I realized that she was in Orange County (Ashley), played Kristy in the Baby-Sitters Club movie, and is Sissy Spacek's daughter (apparently it was her mom who taught her how to play the guitar). I guess she's more a folk artist than anything, but I'd rather place her in the category of "chick you can imagine sitting on their bed strumming their guitar and singing sweetly but strongly from the heart."
Her songs speak to me in ways that other's will never come close to, and I hope they do the same for you.
"You know what they say, 'you can't have it so you want it bad'. I'm way pass that, believe me."

Thanks for posting! These are great. I'm curious how long until the EP is more widely available.
