Sometimes there are songs that you know from the first few notes are going to be a favorite. One night while wasting time on iTunes instead of sleeping I came across one of these songs by a Canadian artist named Matthew Barber--the song is called "Easily Bruised." There is a great video of the song that you can see here on YouTube.Matthew Barber claims as his influences artists such as Bob Dylan and Neil Young. He has been a mainstay in the Canadian music scene but is just now making the jump south of the border into the US. He has released 2 full-length albums and an EP, with a new album True Believer coming out at the end of the month.
