If you are like me and wish you had been old enough to appreciate Queen in their time (or if you were old enough to be a die-hard Queen fan at the time), you should check out Bryan Scary & the Shredding Tears. Their piano-powered rock has the playful, theatrical and at times even epic qualities that Queen had. But don't worry, they've got their own sounds too, and it sounds like their subject matter is a little more sci-fi/fairytale based.
