If you combine the rumbling, gritty instrumentation of Black Rebel Motorcycle Club, the psychedelic influences of The Dandy Warhols and/or The Flaming Lips, and the vocals of Sunset Rubdown, you would have a band something along the lines of Hopewell. In fact, they've toured with The Dandy Warhols' frenemies Brian Jonestown Massacre. The band has actually been around since the '90s and recently released their 6th album, Good Good Desperation, an album that has definitely caught my attention in recent weeks and has been getting some heavy play from me. Check out their single "Island."
