Fanfarlo's biggest news as of yet may be just the fact that they have returned to the UK after spending some time in Connecticut recording their first album, but trust me, when their album is finally released in 2009, these guys are going to be big. This young 6-piece pop rock British group sounds as if someone took Radiohead, cranked up the tempo by 10-20 bpm and put it through a Fleet Foxes filter. Their music features arpeggios, horns, strings and acoustic guitar galore alongside lead singer Simon's crooning vocals, the songs themselves sounding absolutely complete, contained and perfect.
